Millet Tahini Porridge with pan-fried Apples

INGREDIENTS
Serves 2

1 Cup Millet Flakes or small porridge oats
1 tbsp Tahini
2 Cups Almond Milk
1 Cup water
1 Green Apple
2 tbsp walnuts
1 tsp Mixed Spice
1 tbsp Ghee


INSTRUCTIONS

  • Slice apples into 2 cm slices and place in a pan with walnuts, ‘all spice mix’ and ghee or coconut oil and sautée on a low to medium heat until golden

  • Place Millet Flakes or oats in a pan with almond milk and tahini and bring to simmer and cook for 7 mins, adding water or more milk if needed. A sloppy texture is easier to eat.

  • Then place porridge in a bowl, serve with pan-fried apples a drizzle of honey or maple syrup and a space of milk.
