Yoga, intentional breath, meditation and vegetarian cooking workshop

Join us for this one day retreat to discover how to rebalance our body and mind with yoga, intentional breath, diet and meditation.
Beginning our day on the mat with two hours of asana and breath work, setting the intention to move into a place of rest. Moving through a sequence of postures that work specifically on boosting immunity and energising the digestive system and deepening our understanding of the connection between breath and digestion.

We then flow into the kitchen for a cooking workshop, that’s packed full of information on how cleansing foods and yoga can improve your digestion, boost your immunity and increase energy.
With a delicious seasonal vegetarian Lunch inspired by the Ayurvedic principles, that food is energy and medicine for healing. Cooking together, using only natural, unprocessed foods where quality, intention and balance are influential aspects to everything that happens in the kitchen.

After lunch we will head out into the nearby countryside for a mindful walk. Exploring further what intentional breath is and how to find our peace in the everyday

This workshop is for beginners to intermediate level and includes:

* 45 minutes breathing workshop
* 1.15 hours yoga practice for digestion
* 1.5hr cooking workshop focused on a cleansing vegetarian diet
* Vegetarian Light lunch
* 1 hr Mindul walking and intentional breath practice
* Recipes from the day

Tamsin first discovered yoga in her early twenties when her doctor recommended she start classes to help alleviate anxiety she was suffering due to bereavement. Within a short space of time everything changed, eventually leading her to take her teacher training course. She teaches traditional yoga, inspired by Sivananda and Yin practices. Her classes are for all levels and are tailored to suit an individual or group’s specific needs. She focuses on breath connection, relaxation, improving digestion and building core strength with a gentle flowing series of postures that are specifically designed to work on all physical and psychic centres of the body, provide complete flexion of the spine and balance the endocrine, nervous and parasympathetic systems. Leaving you feeling restored, energised and with a deeper sense of calm.
She has practiced varying styles of yoga and completed her 500 hour certificate in Southern India under the guidance of Swami Govindananda, Swami Tattvarupananda and Mani Raman at Sivananda Yoga Vidya Peetham.
She Founded Little French Retreat a centre for wellbeing, yoga and vegetarian cuisine in 2013, situated in South West France. She spends her time between France, India and the UK teaching, cooking and hosting retreats for other practitioners.
