Equinox Slow Rest for Women Retreat

A uniquely small and thoughtfully hand crafted retreat for an authentic deep rest experience.  Feel held and supported in this semi-private retreat for 6 women only.

Enjoy twice daily slow rest journeys with Carole. Experience a unique fusion of gentle seated meridian movements, deep rest postures (restorative yoga), therapeutic breath rituals, immune system repair, healing touch and guided releasing meditations, as you move through the restorative rhythm of resting, releasing and receiving all that you need.

To deepen the experience Carole personally works alongside you, tuning into your energies, and offering hands on reiki, essential oils, flower essences, energy clearing sprays, sound medicine or crystal therapy as needed.

The slow rest retreat is for any woman needing some time out or herself, from the busyness of life, feels exhausted, fatigued  or recovering from health issues. Absolutely no yoga, mindfulness or meditation experience needed. All ages are most welcomed.

The autumn equinox signals a time for seasonal releasing. A shedding of your own autumn leave.  To celebrate Carole will be crafting a fire cleansing ritual under the evening stars.  A gentle and kind ceremony for letting go and releasing. An opportunity to burn your disappointments and shed your own autumn leaves.

Carole is a writer and creator of Slow Rest Retreats. She lives in Melbourne, Australia where she writes the Rejuvenation Lounge blog.  Blessed over the years with a strong, loyal following from many parts of the world. For over a decade now she has facilitated Slow Rest Retreats in peaceful locations around the world.  

For the past 25 years she has studied many different natural healing and spiritual modalities, from Relax and Renew Yoga teaching with Judith Lasater, flower essences, meditation, energy healing and relaxation alchemy with way many teachers and has a Diploma of Counselling.

A mother of three awesome boys, who’s held the space for her boys to grow and discover who they are over the past 14 years on her own - and loved every minute of it. The easy and the difficult bits.

ABOUT SLOW REST RETREATS
Most slow rest postures are enjoyed laying down with the support from props, blankets, sand bags, blocks, yoga bolsters and eye pillows.

The use of props helps trigger the relaxation response in your body. You begin to let go, soften, rest deeply and replenish.  Restoring balance to your nervous and immune systems.

Spiritually you reconnect to your true essence.  Your divine spark. Your intuitive voice. A sense of feeling calm, grounded and centred flows through you.

All ages welcome.  No experience needed.

FOOD
A vegetarian diet using locally sourced, fresh organic produce. Dishes are a combination of Eastern and European flavours, made from scratch, using non-produced foods and natural sugars found in fruits and grains.  Meal times follow Ayurvedic principles for digestion and improved sleep. Starting the day with morning tea and fruit before yoga with a hearty brunch to follow. Dates: Saturday 29 Sept– Wednesday 03 Oct 2018.
Price: £685.00 per person shared accommodation
Includes: 4 nights accommodation, all nutritious vegetarian meals, snacks and drinks, slow rest sessions, 1-2-1 with Carole, use of yoga mats, meditation blankets and straps, guided walks and meditations. Local train station pick up..
Capacity: 6 shared occupancy with twin rooms only, optional double beds for couples on request. Please enquire for single accommodation.
