This 4 hour workshop takes a look at what stress is, how it affects us and how we can improve our stress by creating balance through yoga techniques, diet and positive thinking.
We explore what it means to be in balance and how we can create less internal stressors, letting go to feel more at ease with difficult situations.
Through postures and breath work that release stress, with positive thoughts and an approach to change the way we regard stress and through the food we eat to enable us to feel more in control of our feelings without controlling situations we have no control over.
You will receive 45 minutes breathing workshop, 1.5 hours yoga practice, tea & biscuit break, workshop exploring stress and positive thinking to change our thoughts, 15 min closing visualisation / meditation and picnic lunch.
WHAT OTHERS SAY
Thank you so so much for today!! It was brilliant. You executed the workshop perfectly! You are the most natural Yoga teacher I've ever had, your techniques were perfect for relaxation and anxiety management. It was far more of what I had originally expected Yoga to be.
- Suvi, Guildford Workshop
Tamsin first discovered yoga in her early twenties when her doctor recommended she began classes to help alleviate anxiety she was suffering due to bereavement. Within a short space of time everything changed, eventually leading her to take a teacher training course. She completed my 200hr certificate with Sivananda Himalayas in 2012, later completing her 500hr certificate in Southern India under the guidance of Swami Govindananda, Swami Tattvarupananda and Mani Raman at Sivananda Yoga Vidya Peetham. Both schools practice the teachings of Swami Sivananda, a renowned guru (teacher) from Southern India who’s’ lineage and philosophy can be traced back to the earliest teachings of yoga.
She teaches traditional yoga, Sivananda and Yin Yoga inspired classes that begin with the practice of pranayama and lead into a soulful flowing asana practice. This workshop is specifically aimed at deepening your sense of relaxation through breath work and meditative postures that are suitable for all levels.
