I teach 1-to-1 and group classes for friends and wedding parties in the area of the Lot et Garonne and the Gers, SW France.
Classes begin with the practice of pranayama and lead into a soulful flowing asana practice. A style based on the teachings of classical Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga.
My approach is relaxed, appreciating the simplicity of yoga and how it helps you to feel balanced. You don’t have to be ‘good’ or ‘flexible’ in postures, it’s about learning to breath properly, relax fully and to be kind with yourself. The series of postures and variations are specifically designed to work on all physical and psychic centres of the body, to provide complete flexion of the spine and balance the endocrine, nervous and parasympathetic systems. Leaving you feeling restored and relaxed.

I first discovered yoga in my early twenties when my doctor recommended I start classes to help alleviate anxiety I was suffering due to bereavement. Within a short space of time everything changed, eventually leading me to take a teacher training course. I completed my 200hr certificate with Sivananda Himalayas in 2012, later completing my 500hr certificate in Southern India under the guidance of Swami Govindananda, Swami Tattvarupananda and Mani Raman at Sivananda Yoga Vidya Peetham. Both schools practice the teachings of Swami Sivananda, a renowned guru (teacher) from Southern India who’s’ lineage and philosophy can be traced back to the earliest teachings of yoga.
I have spent time living in ashrams in France and India, deepening my knowledge, serving as teacher, cook and Karma Yogi (the practice of selfless service). I travel to India during winter months with groups to experience the birth place of Yoga and magic of the country.
